Corrective Exercise

When individuals go and seek help for chronic pain whether it be for lower back, knee or shoulder pain, they isolate the area to only the knee, back, shoulder or whatever it is that's hurting, failing to recognize that the body works like a chain. The dysfunction of one link effects the enitre chain. What most people fail to recognize is that the origin of the pain is stress put upon a completely diffterent source. In many cases, the pain experienced is often the result of smaller events that, when looked at as a whole, leads to the real reason you’re experiencing pain.  Muscle imbalance and movement issues are often the root cause of chronic pain AND the reason you can’t seem to move past the pain. The Elevate corrective exercise system does not look on just treating the symptom. Corrective exercises are specific exericises that contribute to pain relief. They are exercises that are designed to improve movement,  make positive changes in the way you move and focus on the underlying cause of your pain, not just on ways to mask or reduce it.
